Nearly $22,000 was raised in the team’s postgame jersey auction, with all proceeds going to VetTix; an organization that helps local military and active veterans attend sporting events and live entertainment with their friends and family.

Tucson, Arizona – Friday night was NASCAR Night at the Tucson Arena as the Bakersfield Condors took on the Tucson Roadrunners. The Roadrunners fired up their engines but came up short when the checkered flag was waived. Bakersfield defeated the Roadrunners 4-1.

The Tucson Roadrunners continue their six-game homestand starting with a Friday night matchup between the Bakersfield Condors for NASCAR Night. The Phoenix Raceway will be displaying their NASCAR Show car and race trophy for a photo-op for all fans. The Roadrunners look to build off their 2-1 win over the San Diego Gulls on Tuesday’s Field Trip Game. The Condors are coming in hot after giving the undefeated Henderson Silver Knights their first loss of the season in a 5-1 win on Tuesday.
