Game #39: Tucson at Colorado
The Tucson Roadrunners will reach the third and final stop of their six-game road trip Friday night, as they’ll take on the Colorado Eagles for the first of two back-to-back contests at the Budweiser Events Center. This weekend marks the Roadrunners second trip to Loveland on the season, after an identical pair of matchups Friday, December 3 and Saturday, December 4. Tucson took the most recent series opener in Colorado by a score of 4-1, with power-play goals by Ben McCartney and JJ Moser in the first period.

Abbotsford, British Columbia – The Tucson Roadrunners took on the Abbotsford Canucks for the fourth and final time on the season Wednesday night at the Abbotsford Centre in British Columbia. The Canucks came away with a 5-0 victory over the Roadrunners to split the season series at two wins apiece, with the home team winning each matchup. Goaltender David Tendeck made his AHL debut in relief for Tucson and stopped all 17 shots faced.
Game #38: Tucson at Abbotsford
The Tucson Roadrunners are back in Abbotsford to face the Canucks for the second time this week Wednesday night at the Abbotsford Centre. The game will mark the final meeting between Tucson and Abbotsford in the Canucks inaugural season, with the Roadrunners currently holding a 2-1 advantage on the year. Wednesday’s contest in British Columbia is the fourth of six games on Tucson’s current road trip, which will conclude with a pair of matchups against the Colorado Eagles Friday and Saturday. Joining the goaltender crew for the Roadrunners is backstop David Tendeck from the Rapid City Rush, as Ivan Prosvetov has been recalled by the Arizona Coyotes for their own road trip in the Pacific Northwest. Tendeck was drafted by the Coyotes in the sixth round (#158 overall) of the 2018 NHL Draft.

Abbotsford, British Columbia – The Tucson Roadrunners reached the second stop of their six-game road trip, as they visited the Abbotsford Canucks in British Columbia for the first time Monday night. The two teams combined for 13 total goals on 72 shots as the Canucks defended their home ice with a 8-5 victory, their first win against the Roadrunners in franchise history. Cam Dineen, Jan Jenik, Ben McCartney, Travis Barron and Matias Maccelli all notched multiple-point performances, with Maccelli (4a) recording four points for the third time in his rookie campaign.
Game #37: Tucson at Abbotsford
The Tucson Roadrunners continue their road trip north of the border Monday night when they take on the Abbotsford Canucks for the first of two midweek matchups at the Abbotsford Centre. Tucson will look to make it three wins in their last four contests, as well as remain undefeated on the season against the Canucks in their inaugural season. The Roadrunners are coming off a 5-4 road victory against the San Diego Gulls on Saturday night that saw three different players record three points.

San Diego, California – The Tucson Roadrunners concluded their weekend series with the San Diego Gulls Saturday night at the Pechanga Arena, defeating their I-8 Border Rivals by a score of 5-4. Forward Mike Carcone extended his team lead for goals with his third-career AHL hat trick, matching his goal total from last season at 15. Matias Maccelli (1g 2a) and Cam Dineen (3a) also put up three-point performances in the victory, while Tucson goaltender Josef Korenar set a season-high for most saves in a win with 30 shots turned aside.
Game #36: Tucson at San Diego
The Tucson Roadrunners round out the weekend with the second of two games against their I-8 Border Rivals, the San Diego Gulls. Tucson will look to even up the season series at two wins apiece after the home team Gulls won the series opener by a score of 5-3 Friday night. That game saw each squad take just two trips to the man-advantage, after a combined 16 power-play opportunities over a pair of matchups at the Tucson Arena on October 29 and 30.

San Diego, California – The Tucson Roadrunners kicked off their second six-game road trip of 2022 Friday night against the San Diego Gulls at Pechanga Arena. The contest marked the third meeting between the I-8 Border Rivals on the season, as the Gulls defended their home ice with a 5-3 win over the visiting Roadrunners. Tucson’s top-two scorers Matias Maccelli (2a) and Mike Carcone (2g) each notched multiple-ponit performances, while goaltender Ivan Prosvetov stopped 20 shots on goal in his first start against San Diego on the year.
Game #35: Tucson at San Diego
The Tucson Roadrunners embark on another extended road trip beginning Friday night with the first of two games against the San Diego Gulls. The Roadrunners will be back at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego Friday and Saturday for the first time since February 7, 2020. The I-8 Border Rivals have split the season series so far at one win apiece, with six matchups remaining on the season. The Roadrunners won the most recent meeting with the Gulls on October 30 by a score of 6-4, backed by newly-named Captain Hudson Fasching’s five-point performance which included his second career AHL hat trick. The 26-year-old Fasching has been named Captain of the Tucson Roadrunners in his fourth season with the team, having appeared in 145 games with 87 points (40g 47a). His only two games with Tucson last season were against the San Diego Gulls at home on April 9 and 10, 2021.
Game Recap: Bakersfield (2) at Tucson (3) (OT)
Tucson, Arizona – The Roadrunners wrapped up their home series with the Bakersfield Condors in dramatic fashion Saturday night at the Tucson Arena. Tucson erased a two-goal deficit midway through the third period to force overtime, before Ben McCartney netted the game-winner for his second goal of the night. Saturday’s matchup was also Star Wars night at the Tucson Arena, as well as a Kachina Saturday. The second-largest crowd of the season, 5,323 fans came out to show their support for the Roadrunners, as well as their love for Star Wars.
Game #34: Bakersfield at Tucson
The Tucson Roadrunners conclude their three-game home series with the Bakersfield Condors Saturday night at the Tucson Arena. The Roadrunners will look to come out strong after a hard-fought battle Friday night that saw the Condors come away with a 5-4 victory. Saturday’s game marks Star Wars Night at the Tucson Arena, as Roadrunners Mascot Dusty will dress up for the special event.

Tucson, Arizona – The Roadrunners continued their three-game home stand against the Bakersfield Condors Friday night at the Tucson Arena, as the team donned their El Lazo de Tucson alternate identity, celebrating the rich culture and heritage of Southern Arizona. Tucson scored three special-teams goals in the contest, including a pair of power-play strikes in the first period by Jan Jenik and Cameron Hebig. The Roadrunners rallied late with a pair of goals in the final 7:34 of regulation but fell just short to the Condors by a score of 5-4.
