Local artist Alejandra Trujillo brings Día de Muertos to Tucson Arena

Local Tucson artist Alejandra Trujillo captured the meaning of “Hockey in the Desert” when she painted the Tucson Roadrunners Mural at the Boys & Girls Club DEK Hockey Rink on Grant Avenue in 2022. Now, her artwork is helping the Roadrunners and the Tucson community celebrate Hispanic heritage.

MAVERIC LAMOUREUX RECALLED BY UTAH HOCKEY CLUB

Tucson, Arizona - The Utah Hockey Club announced Wednesday that defenseman Maveric Lamoureux has been recalled to the Utah Hockey Club for the first NHL call-up of his career. Lamoureux becomes the second Roadrunners player to be recalled to Utah this season after defenseman Patrik Koch was sent up last week.

Home Opening Weekend: The Roadrunners open their 2024-25 home schedule with a weekend slate against the Texas Stars, Affiliate of the Dallas Stars. The Roadrunners are set to begin Saturday's home opener with the annual Red-Carpet introductions of the 2024-25 team; where cans can get autographs, meet the players and coaches and hear from them as they enter the arena for the first match at the Tucson Arena. Tucson Roadrunners Road Ahead: It’s Time To Play The Game…

2024-25 Begins: The Roadrunners kick off their ninth season in a two-game slate versus the Colorado Eagles, AHL Affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche. Nearly 170 days after the Roadrunners finished their 2023-24 season with a playoff berth and 43-23-4-2 record. Tucson capped off the preseason with a two-game sweep over the Henderson Silver Knights on Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5; outscoring the Vegas Golden Knights Affiliate 10-4 in those two matches. Out of the 26 skaters that suited up in a preseason game for Tucson, 18 of them had a point; including 2023 draft pick Noel Nordh who had two goals and two assists for four points in two preseason games played. Fifth year Roadrunners Forward Ryan McGregor also had a tremendous preseason weekend; notching three assists in two games.

Roadrunners Inaugural Face-Off Gala Set for October 16

Tucson, Arizona – The Tucson Roadrunners have announced that their first-ever Face-Off Gala will take place on Wednesday, October 16 at 6 p.m. at the Tucson Convention Center.  This event has been held as a luncheon over the Team’s first eight seasons but will now be an evening event creating more of an opportunity for fans to attend.
