Dylan Guenther and Matthew Villalta selected to 2024 All-Star Classic
Tucson, Arizona- The Tucson Roadrunners today announced that Forward Dylan Guenther and Goaltender Matthew Villalta have each been selected to represent the organization in the 2024 AHL All-Star Classic presented by Tech CU in San Jose California.

Tucson enters the week at 19-8-1-1 and winners of five-straight games as they hit the road after drawing nearly 11,000 fans to Tucson Arena over the weekend, including 6,087 on Saturday night; which was Tucson’s largest home attendance since Saturday, November 9 in 2019. The two combined crowds of 10,950 was the biggest home weekend for Tucson since April 12 and 13 of 2019.

The Roadrunners will embark on a three-game pre-Christmas road trip in their return to California against the San Jose Barracuda, Bakersfield Condors, and San Diego Gulls. This is the first of two times Tucson will face three different teams in a span of four days with San Jose on Wednesday Dec. 20, Bakersfield on Friday, Dec. 22, and San Diego on Saturday, Dec. 23. Tucson has a combined record of 3-2-0 against these teams and looks to gain more ground in the Pacific Division against three teams that have a combined winning percentage of .418.

With their matchup on Tuesday, November 28 against the Ontario Reign, the Roadrunners will finish their five-game road trip that began in Calgary and proceeded to Henderson during Thanksgiving and now Southern California. In the first four games, Tucson has gone 2-1-1 with securing five of a possible eight points. Three of those games have been decided by one goal with a score of 3-2 in which the Roadrunners have won two of those.
