GLENDALE, AZ – Arizona Coyotes President of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have assigned center Christian Dvorak to the Tucson Roadrunners (AHL) for conditioning purposes.
The 23-year-old Dvorak has registered 30-40-70 and 44 penalty minutes (PIM) in 156 career games with the Coyotes. He recorded a career-high 37 points in 78 games with the team last season. Dvorak has not played a game for the Coyotes this season.
The 6-foot, 195-pound native of Palos, IL was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the second round (58th overall) in the 2014 Entry Draft.
Following a 4-1 win Saturday night over the Texas Stars, the 25-16-4-2 Tucson Roadrunners will conclude their six-game road trip Wednesday in San Diego.
A strong weekend of goaltending by both Hunter Miska and Adin Hill provided the group with 59 saves on 62 shots over the weekend.
