AHL, HockeyTech Launch AHLTV Streaming Platform

TUCSON, AZ – The Tucson Roadrunners, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, announced today new ways to watch Roadrunners hockey this season.
In conjunction with the AHL’s enhanced partnership with HockeyTech and the launch of a brand-new streaming platform, AHLTV, fans can watch all 68 games this season from the comfort of their home or on the go for just $59.99.
Available at theahl.com/AHLTV, AHLTV will be fully functional for live streaming of every AHL game in high definition on platforms such as Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast and Android TV, as well as on desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile devices.

The AHLTV presentation will be a simulcast of the Roadrunners radio broadcast on Fox Sports 1450 featuring the new “Voice of the Roadrunners”, Adrian Denny.
Additionally, Roadrunners fans will be able to watch every AHLTV’s presentation of every road game this season at Brother John’s Beer, Bourbon and BBQ, “The Official Away Game Watch Party Location” of Tucson hockey this season. Beginning Friday, October 12 with the team’s first away game this season against the I-8 Border Rival San Diego Gulls, Brother John’s will be your destination for all 34 regular season road games.
Tickets for the Roadrunners Opening Night on Saturday, October 6 against the San Diego Gulls at Tucson Arena are on sale now. Puck drop is set for 7:05 p.m. and tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com or by visiting the Tucson Convention Center box office.
Join the Roadrunners on Saturday, September 15 from 3-5 p.m. for the club’s second annual “Roadrunners Fan Fest”! Celebrate the unofficial start of hockey season with heavily discounted merchandise, a chance to win Roadrunners prizes and more activities to get you geared up for hockey season. All attending are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit Banner Children’s Hospital at Diamond Children’s Medical Center in Tucson. All donated toys will be delivered to the Toy Closet at Diamond Children’s, allowing young patients to choose a new toy after undergoing procedures or treatments.
Game feeds will be seamlessly combined with the AHL’s statistical database from LeagueStat, providing real-time scoring updates for fans as they watch, and viewers will also be able to capture and save their own highlight clips to share with other AHLTV users within the platform.
In addition to the standard produced video feeds, AHLTV games will also feature HockeyTech’s ViPr system of video production, with every arena outfitted with a camera that will capture the entire sheet of ice in one high-definition, undistorted, panoramic view that lets mobile viewers control what they see by pinching, zooming and tilting their phone.
