Coyotes Recall Bunting From Tucson

GLENDALE, AZ – Arizona Coyotes President of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have recalled forward Michael Bunting from the Tucson Roadrunners, the club's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate.
The 23-year-old Bunting has scored a goal in five games with the Coyotes this season.
The 5-foot-11, 197-pound native of Scarborough, ON has registered 11-16-27 and 38 penalty minutes (PIM) in 31 games with the Roadrunners this season. He has recorded 58-64-122 and 174 PIM in 226 career AHL games over four seasons with Tucson and Springfield.
The 2019 AHL All-Star was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the fourth round (117th overall) in the 2014 Entry Draft.
Bunting is the Roadrunners all-time leader in goals (47) and points (98).
Following a 4-1 win Saturday night over the Texas Stars, the 25-16-4-2 Tucson Roadrunners will conclude their six-game road trip Wednesday in San Diego.
A strong weekend of goaltending by both Hunter Miska and Adin Hill provided the group with 59 saves on 62 shots.
