Coyotes Reduce Training Camp Roster, Assign Nine To Tucson

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Arizona Coyotes President of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have assigned the following nine players to the Tucson Roadrunners, the club’s American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate.
Player -- Position
  • Kyle Capobianco -- Defense
  • Dysin Mayo -- Defense
  • Jalen Smereck -- Defense
  • Joel Hanley -- Defense
  • Lane Pederson -- Center
  • Michael Sislo -- Right Wing
  • Jens Looke -- Right Wing
  • Conor Garland -- Right Wing
  • Michael Bunting -- Left Wing
In addition, the Coyotes assigned defenseman Pierre-Olivier Joseph to his junior club, Charlottetown (QMJHL).
The Coyotes have also released defenseman Tyson Strachan from his professional tryout agreement.                                                                
The Coyotes now have 37 players remaining in training camp.
