FOR THREE!: Tonight marks the fourth of 12 meetings with the Gulls this season, and the second of San Diego’s six scheduled visits to Tucson Arena. The Roadrunners are playing the first of a five-game home stand; the Gulls are completing a one-game trek away from San Diego. Both clubs are coming off of a meeting Saturday night in which the Roadrunners lost 3-2 in a shootout.

GOTTA END IT: The Gulls enter the night with an undefeated record at Tucson Arena, where they have a perfect 7-0-0-0 mark. The Gulls have outscored the Roadrunners by a 37-14 margin during their visits. Can the Roadrunners defeat the Gulls for the first time on home ice tonight?

RED LIGHT DISTRICT: The Roadrunners enter the night with the American Hockey League’s third-best offense, averaging 3.54 goals scored per game, with a total of 46 buried through their first 13 games. The Gulls have scored a combined 17 regulation goals against the Roadrunners this season; can Tucson’s offense keep the pressure on San Diego?

CAPTAIN SAYS: Andrew Campbell reflected on the team’s weekend series against the Gulls, and shared his views on the matchup ahead: “They’re a team that has our number so far, so we definitely feel like we owe them one here. They play a hard game, they like getting pucks in, so we just have to simplify our game, and I think if we execute our game plan, then we’ll be pretty good here tonight.”

WE’RE DOING IT LIVE: You can catch tonight’s action on AHL Live. Roadrunners play-by-play broadcaster Tom Callahan, along with color commentator Tim Gassen, will have the radio call on AM 1450 Fox Sports Tucson. Radio coverage begins at 6:50 PM.
