RAMPAGE REMATCH: Tonight marks the second of four meetings with the Rampage this season, and the final of two scheduled visits to San Antonio’s AT&T Center. The Roadrunners are playing the final of a two-game road trip; the Rampage are playing the fifth of an eight-game home stand. Both clubs are coming off of a meeting Friday night in which the Roadrunners won by a 2-1 score in overtime.

TAKING SHOTS: The Roadrunners set a new franchise record Friday night in registering 55 shots on goal, eclipsing the team's old mark of 52, which was set on December 16, 2017 in the club’s 6-1 win over the Ontario Reign. Through 36 games played, the Roadrunners have fired off a total of 1,153 shots – averaging 32.03 per game, which is the fourth-highest median in the AHL.

AWAY AND OKAY: Including tonight, seven of the Roadrunners next nine games are to be played on the road. The team enters the evening with an 11-3-1-1 record away from home, which is addressed as a .750 win percentage – the third-best in the AHL. They have earned a win in all eight opposing buildings they’ve played in this season.

PROJECTED LINEUP: The team held an optional morning skate at the AT&T Center ahead of tonight’s game. Per club policy, specifics regarding the team’s lineup will not be published until 4:00 PM this afternoon.

THE LAST TIME AROUND: In the team’s previous meeting on Friday night – their first of the season – the Roadrunners defeated the Rampage by a 2-1 score in overtime. Dysin Mayo scored the Roadrunners’ lone regulation goal; Mario Kempe drove home the overtime game-winner with 1:53 left to play in the extra frame. Hunter Miska stopped 19 of the 20 shots he faced to earn his 12th win of the season.

28 AND OUT: The Roadrunners’ 28-game stretch of playing Pacific Division opponents will come to an end upon completion of tonight’s game. A run in their schedule that began on November 10 against the Bakersfield Condors, the Roadrunners have posted a 15-11-0-1 record through the first 27 games of this intra-division marathon.

TWO-WAY GAME: Dylan Strome has been held without a point in consecutive games for just the second time this season. The offensively apt forward has been providing a strong presence on both ends of the ice lately, though, playing a solid, well-rounded game. In 27 AHL games with the Roadrunners, Strome has never gone without a point in three-straight games. Can he find the score sheet tonight in San Antonio?

WE’RE DOING IT LIVE: You can catch tonight’s action on AHL Live. Roadrunners play-by-play broadcaster Tom Callahan will have the radio call on AM 1450 Fox Sports Tucson. Radio coverage begins at 5:45 PM.
