Roadrunners Host Chicago This Weekend Before All-Star Break, Gem Show Trip

TUCSON, AZ – The Tucson Roadrunners, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, are set to welcome the Chicago Wolves to town this weekend for a pair of games on Friday and Saturday night.
 
Tomorrow is “All-Star Sports Night”, which includes children 12 and under attending the game in any sports jersey receiving free admission, with the purchase of an adult ticket. The offer is only valid at the Tucson Convention Center box office, starting at 5 p.m.
 
Saturday’s “Salute to the Olympic Night” features the Roadrunners wearing specialty Olympic-themed jerseys presented by News 4 Tucson. All fans will have the opportunity to win a one of the unique sweaters by way of an in-game jersey raffle. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase for $10 on the concourse of Tucson Arena when doors open at 6 p.m. and can test their luck by placing their tickets into each player’s respective bin. Winning tickets will be pulled over the course of the third period and will be announced over the in-arena public address. Those with winning tickets will also get to meet the player of the jersey they have won post-game.
 
Two specialty jerseys, those of captain Andrew Campbell and goaltender Adin Hill, will also be featured on DASH Auction, a free auction app available for your smartphones, in a standard auction format. The bidding begins tomorrow at 12 Noon and closes Saturday evening at 11 p.m.
 
Fans coming to the contests can also try out the official ice cream of the Roadrunners, “Roadrunner Treats”, which will be on sale on the concourse by The HUB Restaurant & Ice Creamery.

This weekend’s home games will be the final for the club until February 17 when the team returns home to take on the Bakersfield Condors. Following Saturday’s game, Dylan Strome, Nick Merkley, Kyle Capobianco and Mike Van Ryn will head to Utica, NY to participate in the 2018 AHL All-Star Classic. Fans are encouraged to watch Monday’s All-Star Challenge, which begins at 5 p.m. with Dusty and the Roadrunners staff at Sentinel Peak Brewing Company.
