SO LONG, ONTARIO: Tonight marks the final of eight meetings with the Reign this season, and the last of four scheduled visits to Ontario’s Citizens Business Bank Arena. The Roadrunners are playing the first of a six-game road trip; they’re coming off of a 4-3 loss to the Chicago Wolves last Saturday. The Reign are playing the first of a two-game home stand; they’re coming off of a 4-3 win over the Milwaukee Admirals on Saturday.
WHILE WE'RE GONE: The Roadrunners, who are 50% of the way through their 34-game road schedule entering the night, have already matched their road win total from the 2016-17 season. They’ve earned points in 14 of 17 games played away from Tucson Arena, a 12-3-1-1 record, which translates into a .765 win percentage and stands as the third best in the American Hockey League.
GOING FOR 10: Mike Sislo set a new franchise record in extending his point streak to nine games last Saturday night; he’s accumulated 10 points (3G, 7A) during that run. In seven games against the Reign this season, Sislo has registered five points (3G, 2A). Can he further extend his franchise record by getting on the score sheet tonight?
PROJECTED LINEUP: The team held a morning skate at Citizens Business Bank Arena ahead of tonight’s game. Per club policy, specifics regarding the team’s lineup will not be published until 6:00 PM this afternoon.

SANS HANLEY: The Roadrunners will be without defenseman Joel Hanley for the next three games. Hanley, on Thursday, was served with a three-game suspension in consequence for a slashing incident Saturday night against the Chicago Wolves.
THE LAST TIME AROUND: In the teams’ previous meeting on January 12 at Citizens Business Bank Arena, the Roadrunners fell to the Reign by a 6-4 score. Tye McGinn, Nick Merkley, Mario Kempe, and Tyler Gaudet each registered goals for the Roadrunners; Hunter Miska and Adin Hill combined to stop 31 of 37 shots faced in the loss.
THE OUTLOOK: “It’s always hard to play on the road, but this year we’ve had success,” Michael Bunting said on Thursday. “It’s a long road trip for us, two weeks I think, and we’re playing six games during that time. I think it’s going to be fun for us, it’s going to be a fun challenge, and hopefully if we keep things going, we can get all 12 points.”
WE’RE DOING IT LIVE: You can catch tonight’s action on AHL Live. Roadrunners play-by-play broadcaster Tom Callahan will have the radio call on AM 1450 Fox Sports Tucson. Radio coverage begins at 7:45 PM.
