END GAME: Tonight marks the fifth of eight meetings with the Barracuda this season, and the third of four scheduled visits to San Jose’s SAP Center. The Roadrunners are playing the final of a six-game road trip; they’re coming off of a 2-1 overtime win over the Texas Stars Saturday night. The Barracuda are playing the final of a five-game home stand; they’re coming off of a 4-1 loss to the San Diego Gulls on Sunday.

SPUTTERING IN SAN JOSE: The Barracuda, who are completing a five-game home stand tonight, are winless (0-2-1-1) through the first four of the stretch. San Jose is one of only six teams in the AHL with a .500 record or lower on home ice; they’re 11-11-1-1 at the SAP Center this season. The Roadrunners have won each of the two games they’ve played in San Jose this season.

TRIPPING: The Roadrunners have won four of the five games played thus far on their season-long six-game road trip. 4-1-0-0 on the trek entering tonight, the team has been able to pocket eight of a possible 10 points. On their annual Gem Show Road Trip last season, the Roadrunners went 1-5-0-0.

PROJECTED LINEUP: The team held a morning skate at the SAP Center ahead of tonight’s game. Per club policy, specifics regarding the team’s lineup will not be published until 6:00 PM this evening.
