Referees: #57 Andrew Wilk, #3 Mitch Dunning

HELLO, ONTARIO: Tonight marks the first of eight meetings with the Reign this season, and the first of Ontario’s four scheduled visits to Tucson Arena. The Roadrunners are playing the fourth of a five-game home stand; they’re coming off of a 4-2 loss to the Stockton Heat last Saturday. The Reign are playing the first of a five-game road trip; they’re coming off of a 3-2 loss to the San Diego Gulls Friday night.
FEW AND FAR BETWEEN: The Roadrunners are coming off of their longest stretch of the season without having played a game – a span of seven days. They’ve played the least amount of games (16) of any AHL team so far, and are scheduled to play six over the next 11 days. Can they get back into rhythm with a win over the Reign tonight?
CAPTAIN’S BACK: Defenseman Andrew Campbell was assigned to the Roadrunners from the Arizona Coyotes Sunday morning. Campbell has played in each of the team’s 16 games this season; it is likely he draws into the lineup tonight. He’s registered three points (1G, 2A) while being a staple on the team’s first defensive unit.
PROJECTED LINEUP: The team did not hold a pregame morning skate ahead of tonight’s game at Tucson Arena. Per club policy, specifics regarding the team’s lineup will not be published until 2:00 PM this evening.

HUNTER MISKA (35)
ADIN HILL (33)
MARIO’S RETURN: Mario Kempe is expected to make his return to the Roadrunners lineup following his assignment from the Arizona Coyotes last Sunday. Kempe, in one game with the Roadrunners this season in the club’s 7-6 opening night loss to the San Diego Gulls on October 7, registered three points (1G, 2A), leading all players in scoring during that contest.
CONSISTENT PRODUCT: Nick Merkley enters the night having scored goals in each of the past three games, accumulating a total of seven points (3G, 4A) during that span. Kyle Capobianco has assists in each of the last four games, totaling six during that streak.
THE LAST TIME AROUND: The Roadrunners posted a 7-4-1-0 record in 12 games against the Reign during the 2016-17 season, including a dominating 5-0-1-0 record when hosting Ontario at Tucson Arena. Can the Roadrunners carry over their success against the Reign on home ice from last season into tonight?
WE’RE DOING IT LIVE: You can catch tonight’s action on AHL Live. Roadrunners play-by-play broadcaster Tom Callahan, along with color commentator Tim Gassen, will have the radio call on AM 1450 Fox Sports Tucson. Radio coverage begins at 3:50 PM.
