Much of the week was spent sans live action as the Roadrunners ran the clock on the club's longest stretch of the season in which no games were scheduled – a full seven days.
Practice, practice, practice; A lot of it – included in the club’s conglomerate of skates was the return of Mario Kempe, along with a short conditioning stint by Jakob Chychrun.
On Sunday night, the Roadrunners dropped a game in consecutive fashion for the first time all season in their 4-2 loss to the Ontario Reign despite outshooting their Pacific Division counterpart by a 40-21 margin.
Hunter Miska suffered his first professional loss in what was his eighth American Hockey League start. He is now 6-1-0 on the campaign.
Kyle Capobianco extended his point streak to five games with his second period goal Sunday, tying Lane Pederson’s stretch from November 4-18 for the second longest by a Roadrunners player this year.
Capobianco is now third on the team in scoring this season with 14 points (2G, 12) in 17 games. He will be forever remembered for scoring the second 'Teddy Bear Toss' goal in franchise history.

Alumni in Action:
Christian Fischer scored his seventh goal of the season Tuesday night in Edmonton, getting the Coyotes on the board first in the early stages of their 3-2 overtime loss to the Oilers at Rogers Place.
He gets to the net.
In his third game with the Coyotes since his recall, Dylan Strome netted his first NHL goal when he corralled a gorgeous feed from Christian Fischer while shadowing a marvelous zone entry, beating New Jersey’s Keith Kinkaid with a shot through the five-hole, capping off the club's commanding 5-0 win over the Devils Saturday night.
Highlight of the Week:
Kyle Capobianco, upon joining a rush during the second period of Sunday night’s game, fields a Tyler Gaudet pass and one-times it high and past Ontario’s Jack Campbell to get the Roadrunners their first goal of the evening.
Also, this guy.
Quote of the Week:
“I kind of zoned out, I kind of blacked out after the goal, and then all of a sudden I saw all of the teddy bears flying over the glass. It was a great occasion, it was great for the fans, and I think everyone enjoyed that moment.” – Kyle Capobianco, on scoring the teddy bear toss goal
