Coyotes Recall Capobianco; Roadrunners Recall Culkin From Fort Wayne

TUCSON, AZ – The Arizona Coyotes, parent club of the Tucson Roadrunners, announced the recall of defenseman Kyle Capobianco today. In a corresponding move, the Roadrunners announced the recall of defenseman Ryan Culkin from the ECHL’s Fort Wayne Komets.
The 20-year-old Capobianco has registered two goals and 20 assists for a total of 22 points in 35 games with Tucson this season. A 6-foot-2, 196 lbs. native of Mississauga, ON, Capobianco represented the Roadrunners in the American Hockey League All-Star Challenge on Monday night. Originally selected in the third round by the Coyotes in the 2015 draft (#63 overall), the left-handed shot has played in one game with Arizona this season, making his NHL debut on December 7.
The 24-year-old Culkin has registered nine goals and 20 assists for a total of 29 points through 42 games with Fort Wayne, this season. Standing at 6’2”, 201 lbs., Culkin was originally selected by the Calgary Flames in the 2012 draft (#124 overall) and carries 83 games of previous AHL experience.
