Forwards Milos Kelemen and Boko Imama Assigned To Tucson

Scottsdale, Arizona – The Arizona Coyotes and General Manager Bill Armstrong announced Monday that forwards Milos Kelemen and Bokondji Imama have been assigned to the Tucson Roadrunners from the Arizona Coyotes. The pair both took the ice for the Coyotes 5-4 overtime win on Sunday at Mullett Arena against the Minnesota Wild along with six other skaters that have previously played for the Roadrunners.

Milos Kelemen logged over six minutes of ice time with a blocked shot on Sunday, in what was his third career National Hockey League outing. The 23-year-old has amassed 27 total points (14g 13a) with Tucson in his first North American professional season, which ranks fifth among Roadrunners forwards. He made his NHL debut with Arizona on January 24 at Mullett Arena against the Anaheim Ducks. Kelemen has posted five multiple-point performances this year, including a hat trick on November 19 against the San Jose Barracuda.

Boko Imama started Sunday’s action in Tempe with a fight against Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Reaves for his second career NHL bout. He also notched two hits and a blocked shot in Arizona’s win over the Wild, which represented his second NHL outing in less than a week after suiting up for the Coyotes 6-2 win over St. Louis on Tuesday. In 41 games with Tucson this season, the 26-year-old has recorded five goals and seven assists for 12 total points. He is second on the team in penalty minutes with 96 and has received five fighting majors on the year. In his first campaign as a Roadrunner, Imama led the American Hockey League with a franchise record 178 penalty minutes that included 11 fights and has set the all-time team mark for total penalty minutes with 274.

In addition, defenseman Noah Laaouan has been assigned to the ECHL’s Atlanta Gladiators. The 22-year-old made his American Hockey League debut with Tucson on March 3 against the San Diego Gulls. Laaouan is in his first professional campaign after five seasons in the QMJHL and has recorded 20 points (7g 13a) in 52 games with Atlanta this season, as his seven goals are tied for the most by a Gladiators defenseman.
