RRTV In The Community: Thanksgiving Shopping

Dusty spent the weekend shopping at Fry’s on First Avenue and Roger Road to assist as many families as possible in Tucson for Thanksgiving. The collaborative effort to help our community includes:

-Roadrunners Season Ticket Members Donating $100 for turkeys in exchange for a game worn jersey.

-Non-Perishable items collected at Dusty’s Day of Giving on November 21.

-Hospitality from Fry’s Food Stores who assisted in securing dozens of turkeys.

Between gift cards for families, turkey donations and delivered complete menu items to prepare, the team has assisted dozens of families in Southern Arizona this weekend for Thanksgiving. Roadrunners fans were asked to let the team know who close to them could be assisted to have a happy holiday. The team and the AHL have targeted February 5 to begin in the 20-21 season. Details will come as they are available.
