Brad’s Weekend Roadmap: July 28 – Zoo Many Activities
Since Jimmy is moving into a new apartment this week, I am back for a third edition of Brad’s Weekend Road Map. This week has been an exciting week with events at the Reid Park Zoo with the Tucson Family Food Project and the Southern Arizona Animal Food Bank and at the TCC with AZ Bilingual.
AZ Bilingual Helps Kids Get Back to School
Our great partners at AZ Bilingual hosted the 12th annual Back To School event at the Tucson Convention Center Thursday night. Dusty made an appearance and helped hand out school supplies to kids that are gearing up to go back to school.
Roadrunners Get Locked Up In The Reid Park Zoo
This past Saturday, the Roadrunners partnered with the Reid Park Zoo, Tucson Family Food Project and the Southern Arizona Animal Food Bank to offer fans a discounted Zoo ticket for Summer Safari Nights in exchange for a donation. Thanks to all of you generous Roadrunners fans who donated, we all had a great time!
Get Your Game Used Sticks!
This week, there are signed, game used sticks for sale for $100 HERE. There is also a $5 stick raffle with 3 winners that will be chosen for one of Nathan Smith, J.S. Dea or Ryan McGregor’s sticks. These sticks are for display only and not intended for additional on ice use, but have all been used and signed by your heroes!
Steven Kampfer Joins the Podcast
This week, Roadrunners forward Steven Kampfer joined the Insider Podcast with some interesting tidbits about playing for Michigan when his grandpa is a diehard Ohio State fan. He said, “I had to call my grandpa and tell him I was committing to Michigan.” Check out the complete episode with Adrian and Jimmy below!
Listen to “Steven Kampfer Staying In The Desert” on Spreaker.Fancy Feast After a Long Day
After the long day on Thursday, I got some much needed ice cream over at Dairy Queen. Reese’s Blizzard has been my go to since about the 5th grade.
Thank you for joining me for this week’s Weekend Road Map. This may be my last one this summer as Jimmy will be all moved in next week and I do not believe he has any more vacation plans, but you never can tell with him! I hope you were able to join us at one of the awesome events this week! If you have any recommendations or comments for me you can let me know at Brad.Koerner@TucsonRoadrunners.com
