Jimmy’s Weekend Road Map: Heating Up
We’ve made it to another Weekend Road Map after the first full week of June! Whether you were browsing TucsonRoadrunners.com, you saw us post on social media, or I found you on the street and made you look this up, thanks for stopping by. It’s been a fun week for hockey with the NHL’s Stanley Cup Final in full swing and the AHL’s Calder Cup Finals getting underway Thursday night.
Jimmy’s Weekend Road Map: First Of The Month
The Weekend Road Map has made it to June with a slightly new look for the new month (with the same great content, I hope). We’re almost to Game One of the Stanley Cup Final between Adin Hill’s Vegas Golden Knights and Anthony Duclair’s Florida Panthers. Either way, we’ll have a first-time champion that’s also from a warm-weather hockey city, what’s not to like about that? (Besides it not being the Coyotes just yet)
Jimmy’s Weekend Road Map: Long Weekend Ahead
The Weekend Road Map is here before the long Memorial Day Weekend gets underway (unless you got an early start and made it a four-day weekend, lucky you). I’m getting ready for the weekend by helping clean up Alameda Street in Downtown Tucson with the Roadrunners Front Office staff Friday morning. After that, it’s anyone’s guess what I’ll be doing.
Jimmy’s Weekend Road Map: School’s In
The Weekend Road Map is back for another week after navigating the thunderstorms we’ve had scattered around Tucson. With the University of Arizona done for the year and other Tucson students counting down the days until summer, it’s somehow the perfect time for a Weekend Road Map titled “School’s In,” and you’re about to see why.
Jimmy’s Weekend Road Map: Mother’s Day Plans
The Weekend Road Map is back for another Friday! We’ve officially avoided being a one-and-done web story, as we look back at another week of Roadrunners headlines, features, and fun. It’s also a busy weekend for Tucson with University of Arizona Graduation ceremonies before Mother’s Day on Sunday.
Jimmy’s Weekend Road Map: Friday Fiesta
The Weekend Road Map hits the streets for a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta Friday! I’m Jimmy Peebles, you can hear me on the radio for Roadrunners Warm-Up and Postgame during the season, as well as on the Tucson Roadrunners Insider Podcast year-round. I’m so excited to be bringing you a Weekend Road Map all offseason long (you wouldn’t believe how much convincing this took/they’ll give anyone a blog these days, you decide) Check in every Friday for your weekend update, and to catch up on anything you may have missed throughout the week along with fun facts, food pics, and anything else I can get past my proofreader.

To answer last week's Trivia Question, 11 opponents on the 21-22 schedule ties the Roadrunners record for most teams played in a season and it marks the second time and first time since 2017-2018 that the team has played 11 teams in a season. Before, we get to this week's question, RRTV Weekly had more schedule details, details on a trade and a final count on water bottles collected from our NHL Draft Party.
