ROADRUNNERS SCORE THREE IN THE FIRST, HANG ON FOR 4-2 VICTORY OVER THE HENDERSON SILVER KNIGHTS
HENDERSON, NV – The Roadrunners began right where they left off from Friday’s 6-2 victory; with a three goal first period and 4-2 win over the Silver Knights for the two-game preseason sweep. Noel Nordh finished the preseason as the top Tucson scorer with two goals and two assists for four points. Ryan McGregor followed suit as he finished with three assists in the two games: bringing his great two-way play back to the Roadrunners after missing the second half of last season with an ankle injury. Tucson finishes the preseason with 10 total goals while allowing just three to Henderson.
ROADRUNNERS SCORE FIVE IN THE SECOND, DEFEATING HENDERSON 6-2 IN GAME ONE OF THE PRESEASON
HENDERSON, NV – The Roadrunners began the Preseason in style with an impressive 6-2 victory over the Henderson Silver Knights. Tucson scored five unanswered goals in the second period after a 1-1 first frame and eventually held on for the 6-2 victory.

Season nine in Southern Arizona is unofficially underway. The Tucson Roadrunners travel to Henderson for two preseason games against the Silver Knights at Lee's Family Forum. Of the current 26 players on the training camp roster, 10 are returning from last year’s Roadrunners squad. Five players on the roster have appeared against the Roadrunners in previous seasons for other Pacific Division Teams. As for the Silver Knights, their training camp roster began with 29 players, including 16 who played in at least one game with the Silver Knights last season.

TUCSON, AZ – It was a record–breaking Roadrunners playoff crowd of 5,178 fans in the Tucson Arena for Game Two of the playoffs as the Tucson Roadrunners fell 4-3 to the Calgary Wranglers to fall 2-0 in the best-of-three series.

The Tucson Roadrunners enter game two of the best-of-three series down 1-0 versus the Calgary Wranglers after being blanked 2-0 in game one after a late empty-net goal. The Roadrunners put in a great effort on Wednesday; outshooting the Wranglers 46-35. All-Star netminder Dustin Wolf put on a show for Calgary; stopping all 46 shots he faced en-route to the game one victory. Tucson now must win tonight to force game three of the series Sunday.

The Tucson Roadrunners begin the run for the Calder Cup with a Pacific Division round one match against the Calgary Wranglers for the first WhiteOut game in Tucson since 2018. The Roadrunners went 2-1-1-0 in the four-game season series this year against Calgary; with three of those games ending in one-goal fashion. The Roadrunners ended the season with a 23-5-4-2 record in one-goal contests: which is the second-best winning percentage in the AHL at .767. Hershey had the best with a 24-2-0-5 record and .854 winning percentage. This season, the Roadrunners had the second-best winning percentage in the AHL when scoring first at 31-1-2-2; which is a .917 win percentage. This includes a 15-0-2-1 record when scoring first at home. Tucson finished the regular season with an unbeaten streak at 6-0-0-1 while the Wranglers limped to the finish line; having gone winless in five-straight at 0-4-1-0.

TUCSON, AZ – It was Fan Appreciation Might so the Roadrunners decided to give the 6,205 fans in attendance some free hockey (overtime) as they fell 5-4 in overtime to San Jose to fall to 43-24-3-2 to complete the regular season from Tucson Arena.
Game #72: Tucson Roadrunners vs. San Jose Barracuda
The Tucson Roadrunners enter game number 72 of 72 with the longest current win streak in the AHL at six. The Roadrunners need a win to lock in second place of the AHL's Pacific Division; which would match them up with the Calgary Wranglers for round one of the AHL's Calder Cup Playoffs as they will finish the season as the seventh seed.

TUCSON, AZ – The Roadrunners took a little extra time to warm up (about 54 minutes) as they scored four goals in the final 5:12 of the game to defeat San Jose 5-1 and improve to 43-23-3-2 on the year from the Tucson Arena.
Game #71: Tucson Roadrunners vs. San Jose Barracuda
The Roadrunners return home for the final two games of the season with a two-game series against the San Jose Barracuda. The Roadrunners will be wearing their El Lazo de Tucson uniforms for the third and final time this season. The Roadrunners are second in the AHL's Pacific Division after defeating the Coachella Valley Firebirds and keeping the tie breaker over the Ontario Reign. The Roadrunners are carrying a season-high and current AHL best five-game winning streak for the second time this season and look to make it six; which would set the new season-high.

TUCSON, AZ – The Tucson Roadrunners took care of business with a grudge matched 3-2 victory over the Coachella Valley Firebirds: winning the season series 4-3-0-1 against the top team in the Western Conference; improving to 42-23-3-2.
