Tucson, Arizona – The Tucson Roadrunners led for 58:45 of regulation on Friday as they defeated the Bakersfield Condors by a count of 6-2 at the Tucson Arena. Five different Roadrunners skaters recorded multiple-point performances, while netminder Tyler Parks stopped 23 of 25 shots faced in his season debut with Tucson. Friday’s series opener represented the first El Lazo de Tucson night of the 2022-2023 campaign, as the Roadrunners debuted new El Lazo alternate jerseys and Mascot Dusty donned his alter-ego of “El Polvo” for the contest. Tucson and Bakersfield will wrap up the two-game series Saturday night from the Old Pueblo with their fifth of eight total meetings on the season.

Game #38 – Condors at Roadrunners
The Roadrunners return from the road to open a six-game home stand at the Tucson Arena beginning Friday, January 20, against the Bakersfield Condors. Tucson is facing off with the AHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers for the fourth time this season, after they last met less than a week ago on Saturday, January 14, a 4-3 Roadrunners shootout win. Friday’s series opener represents the first El Lazo de Tucson Night of the season, with the Roadrunners debuting new El Lazo alternate jerseys and Mascot Dusty appearing as “El Polvo” for the game. In addition, the Roadrunners will be hosting a pregame Hockey 101 Session of Roadrunners Rules for fans that are new to the game of hockey.

Game Recap: Tucson (1) at Henderson (4)
Henderson, Nevada – The Tucson Roadrunners wrapped up their three-game road trip Wednesday night with a 4-1 loss to the Henderson Silver Knights. The Silver Knights took an early 1-0 lead in the first period and added to their advantage with a three-goal second period for their third-straight win on home ice. Forward J.S. Dea found the back of the net for Tucson with his 14th goal of the season and fifth while on the man-advantage. The Roadrunners will return home to open a six-game home stand at the Tucson Arena Friday night with the first of two contests against the Bakersfield Condors.

Game #37 – Roadrunners at Silver Knights
The Roadrunners wrap up their three-game road trip Wednesday night with the fifth matchup of the season against the Henderson Silver Knights. Tucson can secure a winning record on the trip with a victory over the Silver Knights, which would also give the Roadrunners a 3-2 advantage over Henderson in the season series. The AHL affiliate of the Vegas Golden Knights are hosting the Roadrunners for the final outing of their current home stand, after back-to-back wins against the Calgary Wranglers Friday and Saturday from The Dollar Loan Center.

Palm Desert, California – The Tucson Roadrunners fell to the Coachella Valley Firebirds by a score of 5-2 on Monday, with the game representing the midway point of Tucson’s three-game road trip and the halfway mark of their regular-season schedule. Forward Mike Carcone lit the lamp for Tucson in the second period with his 20th goal and league-leading 50th point of the season, while forward Ryan McGregor scored the final goal of the contest with his fourth of the year. The Roadrunners will wrap up their three-game road trip Wednesday night in Henderson against the Silver Knights, before returning to Tucson to open a six-game home stand at the Tucson Arena on Friday against the Bakersfield Condors.

The Roadrunners continue their three-game road trip on Monday with their seventh matchup of the season against the Coachella Valley Firebirds. Both teams are coming off of wins past regulation over the Bakersfield Condors: a 5-4 overtime win in Coachella Valley on Friday, and a 4-3 shootout win by the Roadrunners in Bakersfield on Saturday.

Bakersfield, California – The Tucson Roadrunners defeated the Bakersfield Condors 4-3 in a shootout Saturday night, overcoming first-period deficits of 2-0 and 3-1 while holding Bakersfield scoreless for the final 52:07 of play. Forwards Adam Cracknell and Mike Carcone were successful in Tucson’s only two shootout attempts, while netminder Ivan Prosvetov stopped two of Bakersfield’s three attempts on top of 22 saves in regulation to secure the comeback win. The Roadrunners will continue their three-game road trip Monday when they visit the Coachella Valley Firebirds at the Acrisure Arena.

The Roadrunners close out their four-game home stand at the Tucson Arena Wednesday night, with the second of two contests against the Milwaukee Admirals. Tuesday’s series opener was the Admirals first ever trip to the Tucson Arena, while Wednesday marks their final appearance of the season in the Old Pueblo. The Roadrunners fell to the AHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators by a score of 7-5 in the series opener on Tuesday, outscoring them 5-4 over the final 47:12 of the game. Following Wednesday’s series finale, Tucson will head on the road for three games in five days against three different teams, beginning on Saturday against the Bakersfield Condors. The series finale represents another Kids Free Wednesday at the Tucson Arena, as all kids 12 and under can receive a free ticket with a paying adult at the Tucson Arena Box Office and $2 souvenir cup refills also available during the game.

Tucson, Arizona – The Roadrunners suffered a 7-5 defeat to the Milwaukee Admirals in Tuesday night’s series opener from the Tucson Arena. Tucson fell behind early by a score of 3-0 but pulled to within one of the Admirals four separate times before the end of the contest. Tuesday night marked the return of Mike Carcone to the Roadrunners lineup for the first time since December 23, as the top scorer in the AHL extended his league lead with two goals and an assist. The Roadrunners will wrap up the midweek set with the AHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators Wednesday night from the Tucson Arena at 6:30 p.m. MST.

Game #33 – Admirals at Roadrunners
The Roadrunners will host the Milwaukee Admirals Tuesday night for their first ever regular-season meeting with the AHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators. The midweek series wraps up a four-game home stand at the Tucson Arena, with six additional home contests coming up in the month of January. The Roadrunners come into the series after their first two contests of 2023 Friday and Saturday, while the Admirals arrive from Milwaukee after a series split with the San Diego Gulls over the weekend.
