Game #23: Stockton at Tucson
The Tucson Roadrunners are back at the Tucson Arena Wednesday night, as they’ll take on the Stockton Heat with a chance to sweep the two-game, midweek series against the AHL’s Pacific Division leader. The Roadrunners won the first game of the series Tuesday night by a score of 2-1, as they handed December’s AHL Goaltender of the Month Dustin Wolf his first regulation loss of the season.

Tucson, Arizona – The Tucson Roadrunners played their first game since the holiday break Tuesday night at the Tucson Arena, toppling the first-place Stockton Heat by a score of 2-1. The win marked the Roadrunners third win in five games over the Calgary Flames AHL affiliate on the season, and the first to be accomplished in regulation. Ivan Prosvetov started in net for the Roadrunners and stopped 30 shots on goal, while Stockton netminder Dustin Wolf suffered his first regulation loss of the 2021-2022 campaign to fall to a 15-1-2 record on the season.
Game #22: Stockton at Tucson
The Tucson Roadrunners return to the ice for a pair of midweek contests with the Stockton Heat at the Tucson Arena Tuesday and Wednesday night. The Roadrunners and Heat last met for a pair of games in the Old Pueblo December 10 and 11, with 15 combined goals scored between the two teams over the weekend. Tuesday’s game marks the Roadrunners first game since December 18, when they defeated the Ontario Reign 4-3 in overtime.

Ontario, California – The Tucson Roadrunners won a back-and-forth battle with the Ontario Reign Saturday night at the Toyota Arena, coming back from an early 1-0 deficit to earn a 4-3 overtime win. Vladislav Kolyachonok netted the game-winner for Tucson just 59 seconds into the extra period, his second overtime goal this season. Ivan Prosvetov made his sixth appearance in the Roadrunners last seven games and stopped 18 shots, earning his seventh win on the year.
Game #21: Tucson at Ontario
The Tucson Roadrunners head out on the road to take on the Ontario Reign for the first game of a three-game, two-country road trip. Tucson and Ontario split the two-game series at the Tucson Arena November 12 and 13, and now the Roadrunners will be back at the Toyota Arena in Ontario for the first time since February 28, 2020. The Roadrunners will then travel north of the border to face the Canucks in Abbotsford for the first time in franchise history Wednesday and Thursday of next week.

Tucson, Arizona – The Tucson Roadrunners concluded their longest home stand of December with a 3-0 loss to the Henderson Silver Knights. Tucson outshot the Silver Knights 36-26 but were unable to put the puck past Henderson goaltender Logan Thompson. Zane McIntyre made his third start in net for the Roadrunners and recorded 23 saves in Wednesday’s contest, allowing just one five-on-five goal.

The Tucson Roadrunners wrap up their final home stand before Christmas Wednesday night as they’ll host the Henderson Silver Knights for the second-straight evening. The Roadrunners will look to earn three out of four possible standings points against the Silver Knights with a win on Wednesday, after falling in overtime in the series opener by a score of 4-3.

The Tucson Roadrunners continue their home stand with a pair of games against the Henderson Silver Knights Tuesday and Wednesday at the Tucson Arena. The Roadrunners and Silver Knights are just one point apart in the AHL Pacific Division standings entering the midweek series.

Tucson, Arizona – The Tucson Roadrunners wrapped up their weekend series with the Stockton Heat Saturday night at the Tucson Arena, falling to the Heat by a score of 5-1. The game was Tucson’s annual Teddy Bear Toss Game, and Ryan McGregor netted the goal for the Roadrunners, spawning thousands of stuffed animals onto the ice. Ivan Prosvetov started his fourth-straight game in net for the Roadrunners and made 30 saves.

The Tucson Roadrunners will look to win their fourth-straight home matchup Saturday night, when they’ll once again host the Stockton Heat. Tucson won the first game of the series Friday night in exciting fashion, coming back from down 4-2 to win in a shootout 5-4. The Roadrunners have now won five of their last six games, as well as five of their last six at home, including three-straight at the Tucson Arena dating back to November 26.

Tucson, Arizona – The Tucson Roadrunners hosted the Stockton Heat for the first time since February of 2020 Friday night at the Tucson Arena, in a game that included two teams that were winners of four of their last five. The Roadrunners came back from down 4-2 to force overtime and eventually reach a shootout, where they came away with the victory. Tucson goaltender Ivan Prosvetov had a night to remember, as he matched his career-high in saves with 47 for his sixth win of the season.
