The Roadrunners struck first, but a late comeback by the Silver Knights forced overtime where Tucson fell 4-3. Ivan Prosvetov made his fifth-straight start in goal for the Roadrunners and made 31 saves.
The Tucson Roadrunners continue their home stand with a pair of games against the Henderson Silver Knights Tuesday and Wednesday at the Tucson Arena. The Roadrunners and Silver Knights are just one point apart in the AHL Pacific Division standings entering the midweek series.

The game was Tucson’s annual Teddy Bear Toss Game, and Ryan McGregor netted the goal for the Roadrunners, spawning thousands of stuffed animals onto the ice. Cameron Hebig had the equalizing goal, his second of the night, followed by JJ Moser with the game-winner on the power-play with 50 seconds remaining in regulation. Goaltender Zane McIntyre made his home debut for the Roadrunners and recorded 21 saves improve to 2-0.

Tucson will look to take both games against Abbotsford this weekend, after defeating the newest member of the AHL Pacific Division 4-1 Friday night.
