The Roadrunners and Roadrunners Give Back held their first ever Bowl-A-Thon Monday, February 24 at Tucson Bowl. The sold-out event included dinner and a night of bowling with Roadrunners players.

Each July when the American Hockey League schedule is released something that most Roadrunners fans have become accustomed to looking for is where the annual mid-February “Gem Show Road Trip” will take the club over their roughly two weeks away from Southern Arizona.

In a week filled with transactions galore and a waiting game regarding goaltending situation, the Roadrunners ended a seven-day stretch on a high, revealing a tremendous story en route to another week atop the American Hockey League standings.

After a near two-week road trip to Iowa and Texas that consisted of a flawless four-game run, the Roadrunners returned home to Tucson Arena this weekend and earned the same result twice over the Ontario Reign.

The team’s first-ever six-game winning streak came to fruition following a grueling stretch three victories against three different opponents in three different cities in five days. Now 21-5, the team’s win percentage (.808) is the best in the league, the Pacific Division lead continues to grow and the good times keep rolling.
