Boko Imama Named Roadrunners Person Of Year

The Arizona Coyotes acquired Imama this past offseason where he went on to appear in 54 games for the Roadrunners totaling four goals, five assists and 10 fights. After 207 career AHL games, he made his NHL debut on April 22 at Gila River Arena against Washington and scored his first NHL goal the following night against St. Louis to start a third period comeback. His first NHL fight took place on April 29 in the season finale as he appeared in four total games with Arizona.

Maccelli Named February’s AHL Rookie Of The Month

The announcement marks the second time this season that Maccelli has been named Rookie of the Month after also winning the award in November.

Matias Maccelli Gets Call From Coyotes

Tucson, Arizona - The Arizona Coyotes announced Monday morning that they had recalled forward Matias Maccelli from the Tucson Roadrunners. The 21-year-old had 55 points (14g 41a) in 42 games with Tucson this season at the time of his recall. He currently ranks third in the American Hockey League for assists and total points, while leading all rookies in both categories.
