Egor Sokolov scored twice, including the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the Tucson Roadrunners over the Bakersfield Condors 3-2 on Saturday at Tucson Arena. With the victory, Tucson (3-3-0-0) claimed its first sweep of the season in its first overtime game of the year, to get back to a .500 record.

GAME #6: TUCSON ROADRUNNERS VS BAKERSFIELD CONDORS

After a cathartic 5-3 game one victory over the Bakersfield Condors on Friday, the Tucson Roadrunners look to secure its first sweep of the season in game two on Saturday. A win would also get the team back to .500, improve the team's position in the Pacific Division standings, and build momentum before its first trip to Canada against the Abbotsford Canucks.

Game #5: Tucson Roadrunners (5) vs. Bakersfield Condors (3)

The Tucson Roadrunners ended its two-game losing streak with 5-3 victory over the Bakersfield Condors on Friday to claim the team's first home win of the season at Tucson Arena. Forwards Hunter Drew and Egor Sokolov scored two goals, and center Andrew Agozzino tallied a goal.

MAVERIC LAMOUREUX RECALLED BY UTAH HOCKEY CLUB

Tucson, Arizona - The Utah Hockey Club announced Wednesday that defenseman Maveric Lamoureux has been recalled to the Utah Hockey Club for the first NHL call-up of his career. Lamoureux becomes the second Roadrunners player to be recalled to Utah this season after defenseman Patrik Koch was sent up last week.

Game #4: Tucson Roadrunners (3) vs. Texas Stars (4)

Tucson, AZ – The Tucson Roadrunners (1-3-0-0) conceded a late lead for the second consecutive game in its 4-3 defeat to the Texas Stars (3-1-0-0). Tucson forward Hunter Drew and rookie defenseman Maveric Lamoureux scored for the second-straight game, and forward Milos Kelemen found the back of the net for the first time this season. Their three goals were not enough to outlast the Stars after Texas defenseman Alexander Petrovic scored the game-winner  with 17 seconds remaining.  Despite allowing the late goal, Roadrunners goalie Jaxson Stauber made a team season-high 41 saves.

The Tucson Roadrunners look to split their two-game series against the Colorado Eagles on Saturday after Friday night's 3-1 defeat. The loss snapped Tucson's six-game winning streak in season openers, which dated back to 2018. A victory on Saturday would build momentum ahead of the Roadrunners' four-game homestand, which begins with the team's home opener against the Texas Stars on Saturday, Oct. 19.
