NOEL NORDH REASSIGNED TO THE SOO GREYHOUNDS

Tucson, Arizona – The Tucson Roadrunners announced Tuesday that forward Noel Nordh has been reassigned to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the OHL.

Game #4: Tucson Roadrunners (3) vs. Texas Stars (4)

Tucson, AZ – The Tucson Roadrunners (1-3-0-0) conceded a late lead for the second consecutive game in its 4-3 defeat to the Texas Stars (3-1-0-0). Tucson forward Hunter Drew and rookie defenseman Maveric Lamoureux scored for the second-straight game, and forward Milos Kelemen found the back of the net for the first time this season. Their three goals were not enough to outlast the Stars after Texas defenseman Alexander Petrovic scored the game-winner  with 17 seconds remaining.  Despite allowing the late goal, Roadrunners goalie Jaxson Stauber made a team season-high 41 saves.

The Tucson Roadrunners look to split their two-game series against the Colorado Eagles on Saturday after Friday night's 3-1 defeat. The loss snapped Tucson's six-game winning streak in season openers, which dated back to 2018. A victory on Saturday would build momentum ahead of the Roadrunners' four-game homestand, which begins with the team's home opener against the Texas Stars on Saturday, Oct. 19.

Loveland, Colorado – After dropping its season opener, the Tucson Roadrunners bounced back to notch its first win of the season against the Colorado Eagles on Saturday at Blue FCU Arena. Tucson (1-1-0-0) scored one goal in the first two periods and two in the third to pull away from Colorado (1-1-0-0).

Loveland, Colorado – The Tucson Roadrunners fought off a hostile crowd and an early deficit, but its comeback fell short in a 3-1 defeat to the Colorado Eagles on Friday at Blue FCU Arena. The loss ended the Roadrunners’ six-game winning streak in season openers, which dates back to 2018. Tucson trailed 2-0 after two periods, but the Roadrunners climbed back into the game after forward Egor Sokolov scored in the first minute of the third. In net, goaltender Matthew Villalta picked up where he left off last season, stopping 22 of 25 shots. His performance helped Tucson kill six Colorado power plays. Both teams finished 1 for 7 on the man advantage.

Roadrunners Inaugural Face-Off Gala Set for October 16

Tucson, Arizona – The Tucson Roadrunners have announced that their first-ever Face-Off Gala will take place on Wednesday, October 16 at 6 p.m. at the Tucson Convention Center.  This event has been held as a luncheon over the Team’s first eight seasons but will now be an evening event creating more of an opportunity for fans to attend.
