Job Summary
The Tucson Roadrunners are aiming to build the most entertaining environment in sports. The Game Presentation Intern will be assisting in the fan engagement and excitement at all Tucson Roadrunners home games. The Game Presentation Intern will work under the Game Entertainment umbrella for all Tucson Roadrunners home games and some outside events. The position reports directly to the Coordinator, Game Presentation & Special Events.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Working with the game director on the planning, preparation, and organization of all entertainment aspects of Tucson Roadrunners home games.
- Assisting in execution of game night plans, overseeing the promotional team, mascot, and all contests/promotions on the ice and in the stands.
- Staging and maintenance of all in-game props and promotions.
- Researching and developing new promotional ideas.
- Organizing and managing all game night set-up including game night mapping, notes and walkthroughs and other special event needs as required.
- Assist with booking, coordination and fulfillment of national anthem performers, Zamboni riders and other fan experiences on a per game basis.
- Coordinate with vendors, talent, executives, and guests to successfully execute all scripted elements and improvised game/event elements as required or assigned.
- Manage and coordinate ceremonies, entertainers, and other live presentations.
- Assists in the execution of live promotions surrounding home games.
- Provides in-arena supervision when the Manager is filling the Game Director role.
- Assists in supporting watch parties, Roadrunners events and Community Relations events.
- Assists in inventory of all props and in-game fan giveaways.
- Other duties as assigned by Coordinator, Game Presentation.

Job Requirements
- This position requires weeknights and weekends as necessary in addition to normal business hours, including attending all home games.
- Will work a maximum of 29.5 hours per week.
