Roadrunners Assign Kallgren To Rapid City, Loan Killins To Rush
TUCSON, ARIZONA –The Tucson Roadrunners, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, have assigned goaltender Erik Kallgren to the Rapid City Rush, the club’s ECHL affiliate. In addition, the Roadrunners have also loaned defenseman Ryker Killins to Rapid City.
The 22-year-old Kallgren made his North American professional debut for the Roadrunners in relief during Sunday’s contest at San Antonio. A native of Stockholm, Sweden, Kallgren was originally selected by the Coyotes in the seventh round (#183 overall) in the 2015 NHL Draft.
The 23-year-old Killins was signed by the Roadrunners on August 1 after registering three goals and six assists for a total of nine points with the South Carolina Stingrays (ECHL) last season upon conclusion of his collegiate career at Ferris State University.
The Roadrunners take on the Ontario Reign, American Hockey League affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings at Toyota Arena in Ontario, California on Saturday at 6 p.m. MST.
The Rush open their ECHL season this Friday in Texas against the Allen Americans.

The Roadrunners will open their fourth season of play in Southern Arizona on Friday, October 18 when the team hosts the San Antonio Rampage, AHL affiliate of the Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues at Tucson Arena. Puck drop is set for 7:05 p.m. and ticket packages including the opening night are on sale now.
